Our thanks to all who joined us for 2025 Run For The Trail 7K Run & 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk on a lovely August evening.  Planning is already underway for the 2026 race.

      For those who have not run the race, the 7K Run is a competitive run with the first half on quiet country roads with the run to the finish on the Ghost Town Trail.  Awards are artisan-made wooden train engines for top three males and females, and top male and female masters, donated  courtesy of Tad Pajak, Tall Pine Safety; top three age group winners receive gold, silver or bronze railroad spikes.

      The 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk is held on a nearby closed-to-traffic section of the Ghost Town Trail, making it ideal for younger runners and walkers.  Seven lucky participants in the 2-Mile went home with $25 gift cards/prizes donated by local businesses.  See the list below.

      Race shirts were furnished compliments of InFirst Bank; ice cream treats following the race courtesy of Allied Milk Products.  Our thanks also to Brad Peterson of Beacon Legacy Planners, LLC for his generous donation to our event.

     As mentioned above, chip timing will be provided by Gingerbread Man Timing Service.  Live results will be uploaded every 30 seconds as runners cross the finish line in the 7K run.
