Our thanks to all who joined us for 2025 Run For The Trail 7K Run & 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk on a lovely August evening.

      For those who have not run the race, the 7K Run is a competitive run with the first half on quiet country roads with the run to the finish on the Ghost Town Trail.  Awards were artisan-made wooden train engines for top three males and females, and top male and female masters, donated  courtesy of Tad Pajak, Tall Pine Safety; top three age group winners receive gold, silver or bronze railroad spikes.

      The 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk was be held on a nearby closed-to-traffic section of the Ghost Town Trail, making it ideal for younger runners and walkers.  Seven lucky participants in the 2-Mile went home with $25 gift cards/prizes donated by local businesses.  See the list below.

      Race shirts were furnished compliments of InFirst Bank; ice cream treats following the race courtesy of Allied Milk Products.  Our thanks also to Brad Peterson of Beacon Legacy Planners, LLC for his generous donation to our event.

     The 2026 Run For The Trail will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026.  Registration will open after the first of the year.​
