Each year for the past 30 years or so, Indiana Road Runners Club has conducted a series of races in conjunction with  Sherry Renosky and the Indiana Mall Association for runners age 12 and under.  Race distances range from a short sprint for the toddlers to a mile run for the 11 and 12 year olds.  

     There is no admission charge for taking part in the races.  Each runner will receive a participation trophy and additional awards will be presented to the boy and girl winner in each age division.  Following the presentation of the awards, there will be drawings for mall gift certificates.

      Registration will open in September and those who wish to pre-register may do so at the mall office.  Race day registration will begin at 8:00 AM with the first race taking place at 9:00 AM.

      Many Kids Klassic runners have gone on to successful scholastic running careers after getting their start at the Kids Klassic.
